Bake a Cake

I was thinking of using my oven to bake a cake again, hopefully when I get back from Baguio next week. I discovered my skill in baking when I was in Thailand and I enjoyed doing it. My kids especially AJ enjoyed eating the cake. It is my desire to bake again after years of waiting here in the Phil.

Ovens are the heartbeat of mothers; it helped them in many ways especially in earning a living. Will it be the same with laboratory ovens? I better check it out. It’s interesting.

Mother’s Day Celebration

Yesterday we celebrated Mother’s Day and most of the mothers attended the celebration in the church. Most of the mothers had teary-eyes because of the words that touched them while their children say something about them. We all agree that mothers had greater part and influence in the lives of their children. They even washed the hands of their mothers which symbolizes blessings.

Just to Relax

Have you been to visiting places like this? It was an enjoyable moment for hubby visiting places like this. If he has a chance to go out he would grab that opportunity and spend time just to relax and feel the gentle breeze away from the stressful surroundings.

At times I go out with him and we spent together but many times I can’t be with him especially when I have other schedules.

The Opening of Classes

The opening of classes is coming soon and students are looking for the right school to study. If there are a lot of students flocking in to study in our school that would mean teachers are needed. But how can the school be sure of the right teacher to be hired? That would require a background screening I guess, especially in many public schools. It’s sad to say that many teachers were hired but they display a bad reputation to the school. I guess, this time that is necessary.

The Beauty of the Beach

Beach has its own beauty to evolve. It can give fresh air and people enjoy rowing their boats and feel the splash of water. It has been the joy of my kids every time we decided to go to the beach. Their experience of going there would mean something for them and wanted to stay for few days. It will be good if we have enough time for vacation so that we have ample time for the family as well.

Playing is Enjoyable

My 9-year old son has been enjoying his childhood days and enjoyed playing any playground like this in the picture. I guess, not only my son but most of the children would love to play especially in the school playground where kids have enough time to play and run with their classmates and friends in school. It’s their time to shine and explore life to the fullest. Playing is their usual way of doing things everyday. Without it their day is not complete. Am I saying it right? Everyone would agree I suppose.

Mellow Yellow Monday is the meme I missed for quite sometime. Since I started teaching I could not find any chance to write. I don’t have enough time to blog, huhu! Hopefully this 1st semester I could do more blogging.

Anyway, I sang with another teacher in one of the occasions in the school. I love to sing “The Prayer” and we sang it twice in different occasions.

BootsI Like

During rainy days people loved to wear boots of any kind. Last time when my sister came back home from work abroad we went to the city and looked for something she wanted to buy. It rained hard that we can’t walk to another area because the water was so deep. So went inside the stores and looked for something wear to cover our feet. We saw this western boots and it attracted to the eyes of my sister. She didn’t think twice but rather bought 2 pairs of herself and for me. It was my first time to wear it but we only use it once in a rainy day.

The Journey

One of the songs I love to sing is the journey. I’m enjoying to listen and sing it as well. Early this month one of our singers in school was tasked to sing this song to one of the employees who has already retired. He also liked this song. This song touched the hearts of many and it seemed that we all enjoyed. I will be listening to it again and again.
