The enjoyable and most awaited occasion is coming soon. An occasion that most of the kids loved and those who loved to kid around.  Its Christmas season!  As tradition dictates, we are now on a hunting mode for the best, most memorable and precious gift we might give our special loved ones.  Surely, many of us as early as this month were now thinking of a holiday themed gift baskets that we can offer to our friends.

Whether our gift baskets were bought from a store or made and put together by us – it did not matter at all.  To us, what really matters is the art of giving and being thoughtful during this season.  Somehow when we give ourselves unselfishly to others we reap a harvest of of love as well.

One of my favorite quote: “It is good to have money and the things that money can buy.  But it is good too, to check once in a while and make sure you haven’t lost the things that money can’t buy.”

So as the season fast approaching, do remember that as you planned to give a holiday  gift basket to your special loved ones, what matter most is that – you gave it with your heart.

Nature fun and exploration…

Nature’s Trail and Adventure, an activity designed for the youth to spend their semester break in a productive way. It was an exciting and fun-filled activities, which includes nature trail discovery and island hopping. The youth really enjoyed their time and somehow developed such bond for each other.

They have the opportunity to enjoy the waves and the beautiful sunset that bathes the island in its golden rays. One of the best memories they have is the joy of being together and enjoying each other company. Lots of the young people said, that its was worth the long travel. They also enjoyed all the pictorials that they have. Guess, you enjoy sharing your Mellow Yellow Monday post. Have a nice day.

Managing the documents

One of the biggest hassles in a big office is the management of documents. In every departments lots of paper works were done every day. More often 80% of the efforts goes to making sure that the documents were properly filed and labeled.

As technology and new discoveries makes work lighter, thus its also true with all the paper works in most of the work places. Lots of companies right now were very dependent on computer technology to do the processing and documenting of all their transactions. That is why, most companies right now were into document imaging software courtesy of the 21st discovery in the field of business and finance. Such innovations help in making the companies achieved a good returns for their investments. And the reality of having a paperless environment in the near future.

The journey up

The Youth Breakthrough, the youth group of our church were given the opportunity to have a Leaders Retreat entitled: “Facing the Giants.” The place was about three and half hours ride from our city. They have the opportunity to pass by different towns and cities going South. The sun was simmering hot, cloudless, blue skies and a beautiful sceneries along the way, added to the excitement and wonderful experience of the youth.

There is singing, kidding and fun along the way. The youth took pictures of each other and the places that they pass by.

Of clothes and garbs

Second semester is fast approaching and lots of medical students in our place were preparing for their laboratory works and practicum. Most of them right now, were kind of busy looking for their medical scrubs which is a basic requirements for their course. Sometimes due to demand, they find it difficult to acquire the right one that will suit their taste and lifestyle.

Right now, even work places became fashionable, thus the competitive spirit to wear what is in and stylish. The more nurses and even medical practitioners depart from using the traditional garbs, the more we will see them in a new way. Not only men or women in white but rather those who cares that clothes also help makes their personality presentable.

Brigada Eskwela

The Brigada Eskwela is usually done before the class started in June. It is the desire of the school heads, principals, and the education department or DepEd to pursue excellence as far as education is concerned. That everything is prepared before the opening of classes. A great idea, I suppose, and an opportunity for students and teachers alike to be in contact and have unity for that purpose. I guess, everyone seemed doing and working together just to help the students be prepared and give the best in school.

There were contests held after the preparations in order for the school to unite together with the help of the parents’ organization. This school won many times because of their unity and cooperation both the parents, teachers with the students. They reaped what they had sown.

The Best Gift?

My 8-year old the other day was asking me to buy a play station. I did not give him a yes, but was thinking of giving him a present this coming Christmas celebration. It would be nice if we could check of the source sells ps3 slim that is available in the market which is the best gift we could ever give to him.

Will it give him enjoyment for a long time or just for fun for a while? That’s rather interesting, right? We’ll see.

The Best Uniform for Nurses

Second semester about to start here in our place, and most university students were preparing for their practicum. Practicum refers to a kind of On –the- job training for the students where they have to experience working in a real workplace setting.

Right now, they have to order and even look for people to make their office or work place uniform. Just like nurses uniform that is in demand at this time, because lots of students enrolled in this course and desired to have a better future. I guess, they could find one suited for them and they would look great.

Ambassadress of Goodwill

According to ABS-CBN news the Queen of all Media Kris Aquino was invited as ambassadress of goodwill of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees or UNHCR. It was announced early this morning at Malacanang Palace by Ronald Llamas, the Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs.

Kris was asked according to Llamas, since UNHCR knew that her family was once a political refugees of the Marcos dictatorship. I do believe she could relate to those who are suffering or had been refugees and she could do something for them. This might be a great opportunity for her to help those who are in need.
